Security technology

See more. Control more. Protect more.

Camera systems and access control planned around a property, installed properly and documented so they keep working after the install team leaves.

Capabilities

Technology built into the security program

Every component below is specified for the property it serves — not sold from a catalogue.

IP Security Cameras

High-resolution IP cameras selected for the field of view, distance and lighting each position requires.

CCTV Surveillance

Supported CCTV configurations for properties with existing infrastructure worth keeping.

Multi-Camera Systems

Coordinated coverage across entries, corridors, parking and perimeters with no gap between views.

Remote-View Capable Systems

Secure remote access for authorized staff where the equipment and site network support it.

Camera Upgrades

Improving an existing system through placement changes, selective replacement or recorder upgrades.

Video Recording Systems

Recorder capacity and retention sized to the camera count and the review window you need.

Entry Monitoring

Cameras and access events paired so an entry can be matched to footage in seconds.

Access Control

Credentialed entry with zones and schedules that match how the property actually operates.

Keycard & Credential Systems

Cards, fobs and supported mobile credentials issued and revoked individually.

Door Control

Reader and lock hardware appropriate to the door type, traffic level and environment.

Gate Access

Vehicle gate control for lots, yards and structures, with separate tenant and visitor arrangements.

Intercom Integration

Coordination with intercom entry and visitor workflows already in place at the property.

Planning

How a technology project runs

  1. 1

Site walk to identify what needs to be seen or controlled, and under what conditions.

  2. 2

A written design covering camera positions, door hardware, network requirements and retention.

  3. 3

Installation with cabling, power and equipment placement documented as it is built.

  4. 4

Handover including how to review footage, issue credentials and check system health.

  5. 5

A maintenance outline so the system is still working a year later.

Scope

What we will and won't claim

Defensive Strike specifies established, commercially available equipment. We do not present third-party hardware as proprietary technology, and we confirm scope in writing before work begins. Where a service requires specific licensing, that is confirmed with you rather than assumed.

FAQ

Security technology questions

Defensive Strike plans and installs camera systems, and can also assess and upgrade an existing installation rather than replacing it outright.

It can extend coverage, but it does not replace judgment or response. Most effective programs use technology to cover the hours and areas that staffing cannot reach.

Compatibility is assessed during the site walk. Where existing hardware is sound, it is kept and integrated wherever practical.

Remote viewing is supported where the equipment and network allow. Monitoring arrangements are confirmed directly with your team based on the scope you need.
